SINGAPORE, 20th May 2025 – Quantified Energy (QE), a leader in AI-driven solar inspection technology, announced it has secured Series A funding led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India. This investment will fuel the company’s global expansion and product innovation efforts as it continues to advance the solar industry.
As a spin-off from the National University of Singapore’s Solar Energy Research Institute (SERIS), Quantified Energy has pioneered an autonomous drone electroluminescence (EL) mapping solution. This technology provides non-destructive, high-throughput diagnostics for solar power systems, helping asset owners and financiers optimize performance and extend the lifespan of their installations.
The global solar market is experiencing unprecedented growth, with BloombergNEF projecting up to 4.5 TW of new solar PV capacity by 2030. As the industry scales, the need for efficient and accurate inspection technologies has never been greater. Quantified Energy’s solutions are designed to meet this demand, ensuring every PV module contributes to a reliable and sustainable energy future.

Quantified Energy’s technology has already been deployed across Asia, Europe, Oceania, and the Middle East, including the world’s largest EL inspection of over one million PV modules at a single site within 3 weeks. This year, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TÜV Rheinland at Intersolar Europe 2025 to drive the adoption of drone-based EL mapping in key European markets, such as Spain and Portugal.
